Let's get started with the Global Disability Summit in Berlin! Martina Puschke and Beatrice Gómez from Weibernetz are kicking off the international civil society meeting today. Today's program includes an exchange on the rights of women and girls with disabilities. Self-advocacy organizations in particular are the focus today. Over the next two days, 6,000 people from all over the world are expected to attend. The aim of the event is to reach as many agreements as possible for more inclusion and disability mainstreaming in development work. Germany and the Kingdom of Jordan are hosting the summit.

The Weibernetz colleagues are looking forward to many encounters with disabled women from all over the world.
